Membership Renewal Pricing

Annual Membership Renewal Dues: $125

Renewal dues must be paid by December 31st. A $20 late payment penalty applies to renewals received after December 31st.

New Member Pricing

New Adult Membership: $225 (Includes $100 Initiation Fee)

New Member Fees are pro-rated quarterly. New Members should submit payment amount based on when they are joining and the chart below.

  • Jan – Mar: $225 (Includes $100 Initiation fee)

  • Apr – Jun: $193.75 (Includes $100 Initiation fee)

  • Jul – Sep:  $162.50 (Includes $100 Initiation fee)

  • Oct – Dec: $ 131.25 (Includes $100 Initiation fee)

Dues for the following year can be reduced by up to $40 by earning Model Master Credits for time spent helping the club.

Family Membership*

Dues for Each Additional Family Member: $20

  • Must buy one full price Adult membership.

  • Club Application, AMA Membership, FAA Registration and TRUST Test are required for each individual member.

    *Family memberships are only available to spouse or children under the age of 18 living with the adult member at the same address.

Junior Member

Under the age of 18 (as of July 1st): $25

Snow Birds (October - March)

Returning Snow Bird: $62.50

New Snow Bird: $162.50 (Includes $100 Initiation Fee)

Active Duty/First Responders

$0 – Must be Current Active Status

  • First and Foremost, Thank You for Your Service!​

  • Club Application, AMA Membership, FAA Registration and TRUST Test are required.

  • Please provide photocopy of current ID card

Membership Requirements

  1. Each pilot must be a member of the AMA with a Full Membership and abide by all rules. (Park Flyer membership will not be accepted).

  2. Each pilot must be registered with the FAA under the Exception for Limited Recreational Operations and abide by all rules. (“Home built” aircraft satisfies for aircraft type on registration application).

  3. Each pilot must take and provide certificate # of the Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST) (Easy test, Answers are provided. Allow 20 – 30 minutes).

Steps to Join/Renew your Membership

  1. Fill out and submit the New Membership Application or if renewing, the HMM Renewal Application.

  2. Send the payment amount corresponding to the above membership pricing via PayPal to HemetModelMasters@gmail.com

  3. Read/abide by the HMM Bylaws and Flying Site Rules.

  4. Meet with a Club Member at the field for review of the Field and Flight procedures. (For help connecting with a member, contact info@hemetmodelmasters.com).
