Our Facilities
Hemet Model Masters has two flying sites. Our Main (Simpson) Field is one of the premier flying facilities in Southern California. It includes a 600 foot by 70 foot paved runway, a dedicated 12’x12′ concrete takeoff/landing pad for rotary and multirotor aircraft and fully paved pits with a 145′ x 18′ shade structure. We invite all categories of RC aircraft including but not limited to; Gas, Electric, Nitro, Turbine, Aerobatic, Sport, Scale and Rotor Aircraft of all sizes.
Our secondary site is known as Lakeview (Davis) Field. This is a well manicured dirt field east of Lake Perris off of Ramona Expressway. Among other things, the Davis field is popular for competitive soaring flying and events.
Our Mission
Hemet Model Masters is a club chartered by the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA Charter #1376). Our mission is to provide a safe environment and high quality remote control flying facilities where our members and our community can enjoy the sport of model aircraft flying. We strive to do this in a positive and responsible manner that respects the rights and safety of our neighbors in the surrounding community. We encourage and mentor everyone of all ages interested in learning about flying.
